April is turning toward its last lap,and it is again time to call upon the writing talents of one of the most creative people I know – you. Yes, anyone can have the thrill of being in the Ars Heroica magazine. All you have to do is submit an article to the School Assignments.
What’s that? You can’t find the assignment? Well then, you are probably already a published author in our magazine. Simply submit your newest article as class extra credit to your instructor. This way, you get fame and recognition while you are raising your grade.

As a institute promoting Heroism and self-improvement, we wish to encourage all of you to live healthy life styles. Therefore, we do not wish to be associated with alcoholic beverages or mind altering drugs. It’s hard to be a Hero while you are hallucinating about pink dragons.
Therefore, when our fine sponsor, Gnome Anne, approached me with her latest advertisement, I was hesitant to accept her gracious donation to our scholarship fund. I looked down upon her sternly and asked, “Tell me, this new beverage you are marketing… it isn’t alcoholic, is it?”
Gnome Anne widened her yellow eyes in shock at such a suggestion. She then replied innocently, “Oh no, Mr. Great Famous Adventurer, sir, the Gnome Anne’s Land™ brand name would never be sullied by selling something that isn’t good for you! Our quality control specialists at the inn have taken an old gnomish recipe for… root beer! That’s it! Root beer, and carefully aged it with all sorts of good fruit and grains until it is as smooth as buttercups. It goes through rounds and rounds of extensive taste-tasting, and whatever gets left over is bottled for our customers. We share only what we couldn’t drink ourselves!”
Therefore, I, the Famous Adventurer, can with a clear conscience recommend that you support these Gnomes and their old gnomish recipe.
